Trustee dispute over Ohio University vacancy in 1832

Col R A Constable contends no vacancy exists as Dr Wr B Johnson has not resigned or been judicially removed. He cites the Lindley v Brice decision stating a legislative appointment without resignation or court ruling creates no legal right to fill a vacancy. The report notes Hayes pledges cooperation with the Treasury committee and remarks on ventilation and a Baltimore jewelry robbery.
