Larry Colbert Appointed Foreign Service Officer
GLOUSTER President Johnson names Larry Colbert son of Lawrence G Colbert 33 Madison St Glouster as a Foreign Service officer. He was sworn in in Washington with Ambassador Foy D Kohler as principal speaker. Colbert earned the appointment after passing selective written and oral exams. He will soon serve at an embassy or consulate in one of 119 countries. Colbert is a Glouster High School graduate with a BA from Ohio University and an MA from the University of Missouri.

Lodge Installs New Officers In GLOUSTER ceremony
GLOUSTER Marcellite Rebekah Lodge held its annual installation Saturday evening. Dortha Dugan welcomed guests as Alma Howard assisted by local nobles installed Eva Zimmer as noble grand and officers including Thelma Bevans vice grand Wanda McAllister recording secretary Virginia Moore financial secretary Barbara Lowry treasurer Ima Dugan warden Sophia Vegso chaplain and others. Gifts were exchanged with a PNG pin and a corage presented to Mrs Dugan and to Mrs Zimmer.
