1300 Gallons Gasoline-Oil Mixed Supplied as Stove Fuel

Fire officials learned 1300 gallons of explosive gasoline fuel oil mix were sold as stove fuel in a West Side Chicago area. By nightfall 950 gallons were recovered from residents through a citywide house to house search. No explosions occurred but deputy chief Harry Mohr warned of great explosion risk.
