Book Night Links Youth Activities Circle of CCL

The annual Book Night was hosted at Mrs. Charles Reamer’s home with co hostess Mrs. Thomas Metters. A 7 30 desert course preceded a business meeting. An executive board gathering is set for March 22 at 1 p m. The group plans a February Polio pick up and Y Teen party at the high school on February 24. France exchange students spoke on youth activities in France and members reviewed books on teenage children.

MYF Attends Chillicothe Mid-Winter Camp

The Guysville and Canaanville Intermediate Methodist Youth Fellowship will drive to the Walnut Street Methodist Church in Chillicothe for a mid winter junior high camp on January 24. Fathers Present Play at East Side PTA Meeting

Old School Days was the theme of a fathers led play at the East Side School PTA gathering held in the auditorium Wednesday evening. Church Women Install Officers for New Year

United Church Women of the First Methodist Church held their first meeting of the year on January 11 with Mrs. Vermillion reporting on past work. Rev. Roger Mills Rice Jr spoke on the year’s theme. Deputy duties were led by Mrs. Sidney Easler. A $50 donation was sent to the United Church Women for next year’s Christmas Page.
