Half Mill Levy Aims to Bring $1.5 Million to Trimble Schools
GLOUSTER Ohio voters face a Tuesday special election on a half mill levy that would bring the Trimble Paper School District about 1.5 million dollars in state funds for a new elementary school. Superintendent George Sasser notes 21 districts await the funds, with Trimble top priority, while PTO leaders push door to door campaigns and support. If approved, construction would start by late summer for a 30-room, K through 8 facility with modern classrooms, library and gym. If defeated, the district would manage with the existing 433,000 grant and a smaller 10-room building plan, delaying needs for years.
