Court Grants Sheeter Full Salary Through Year End
Athens County Municipal Court Judge Franklin J. Sheeter will keep receiving his full annual salary of 17,900 through year end when his term expires. A temporary injunction in Athens County Common Pleas Court blocks action to recover part of the salary through December. Judge Harley Meyer set bond at 5,000 and ordered stipulations and briefs in the pending cases filed by Sheeter and the defendants including Athens, the city auditor, county commissioners, and the county auditor Seaman.
