Kennedy Autopsy Panel Confirms Kennedy Was Shot From Behind
A secret panel's autopsy review confirms the Kennedy killing followed the Warren Commission finding of a single gunman, Lee Harvey Oswald, firing from behind. The findings are public as legal battles over autopsy photos and X rays proceed in Washington amid the Shaw trial and Garrison's pursuit of front-shot evidence. The panel included doctors from Utah, Maryland, Johns Hopkins, Case Western, and others, and noted Mrs. Onassis and Sen. Kennedy were consulted before release.
