Crary Davis 56 former Meigs County prosecutor died at his Main Street home in Middleport. He served 1925 to 1929 and later held posts in Columbus Toledo and Middleport as village solicitor. A World War I lieutenant colonel, he studied at Ohio State University. Surviving wife Nell Giles Davis two sons Crary Davis Jr and William G Davis three grandchildren and three sisters.
