In Wilkes Barre Pennsylvania on January 14 bandits dynamited a makeshift pay car on Glen Alden Coal Company tracks killing four men and injuring six. They used a New York registered car to escape and were thwarted by a survivor's courage.

Frank Hedrick, brother of executed killer John Hedrick, recounts to Meigs County Prosecutor the confessed crimes from age 21 to 30.
