Richardson sisters pace Spartans to another win
Alexander sophomore Rachel Richardson drilled four 3-pointers in the first nine minutes as the Spartans raced to a 20-point lead and cruised past Meigs 55-24 in TVC Ohio action. Leah Richardson added 18 points, six assists and six steals to fuel the 10-2, 6-0 Spartans, while Rachel finished with 14 points, five rebounds, four assists and four steals.

Alexander High to Host 10-Year Reunion for 2007 Spartans
The 2007 Alexander High girls basketball team, the only Athens County squad to reach the Final Four after claiming a Division III regional title, returns for a 10-year reunion. The Spartans host Ironton at 6 p.m. with a two-quarter JV game followed by honoring the '07 varsity squad.
