He advances to district contest with a $50,900 global prize possible. Mystery Bird Seen Over Jackson Avenue in Point Pleasant
Mrs. Mabel McDaniel of 30th Street Point Pleasant reported glimpsing a dark flying creature as large as a plane with a manlike stance and wide wingspan while driving on Jackson Avenue around 5 p.m. Wednesday. She is the mother of Mrs. Roger Searberry, an early Mason Monster fighter. Hunters have since reported unusually large owls in Mason County.

Woman Hurt In Accident Near Route 33
