Transit Authority resumed service with 3200 buses operating and portions of the 237 mile subway system carrying paying passengers. Mail Heist Suspect Is In Custody

Logan Amerine 30 was taken into custody by federal officials in a mail theft case. He allegedly drove the mail truck carrying a shipment of new $20 bills from the Cincinnati Reserve to a Laurelville bank bound for Adelphi in Fairfield County. He is lodged in Hocking County jail as marshals planned a Logan arrival.

Rio de Janeiro Flood Toll Rises to 283
