Woman pleads guilty in fatal heroin injection case
A West Side woman pleaded guilty to involuntary manslaughter for injecting her father with a fatal heroin dose. Lindsay M. Newkirk of Derver Run Road faced counts of involuntary manslaughter and corrupting another with drugs in Leonard P. Newkirk’s death. Judge Kimberly Cocroft imposed a three year sentence with credit for time served.
