Veterans Service Department names Vaughan and Faris

Leo Vaughan of Pomeroy named Director and George Faris appointed Deputy Director of the Meigs County Veterans Service Department. The commission, chaired by Ralph Gilmore with John Will as secretary, plans a 9 am to 3 pm operation at 110 Court St. to assist veterans with claims, schooling, hospitalization, training, loans, pensions, mustering out pay, burials and related benefits.
