Murder convict taunts police in Canton case in jail

Meanwhile 15 year old Robert King Jr. died after a self inflicted shotgun accident while inspecting traps on his father’s farm near Amesville. He died in Sheltering Arms hospital at 3 20 Saturday afternoon. Funeral services are set for Tuesday at 1 pm at the Amosville M E church with burial in Wrest Union street cemetery Athens.

Mrs. Julia Washington of Middleport on Olive Street died Friday evening at about age 95 after a month long illness. Born in Charleston West Virginia she came to Middleport in the 1860s as a slave and later married Joe Washington who died about 35 years ago. She leaves two daughters Ida Washington of Columbus and Alice Broughton. her youngest child is 55. She had been blind for several years. funeral arrangements awaiting.
