NELSONVILLE The Tri-County District Joint Vocational School board moved its organizational session from Wednesday night to 7:30 p.m. Thursday. Superintendent T. C. Porter announced. Representatives of Van Buren Blackburn and Associates architects for the building plan will attend. Porter and vocational staff confer with consultants on building equipment and other school program matters.

Erwin D. Canham editor of The Christian Science Monitor will lecture at Marietta College on The United States in a World Divided at 8 p.m. in Ban Johnson Field House. The event continues a college lecture series started with Justice Brenner’s talk in October. Canham, president of the Christian Science Church, has chaired national committees and written on world affairs and Christian Science. Mayor Raps Driver For DWI Charge
William Jasper Mace 39 of Haydenville pled guilty in Nelsonville Mayor's Court to DWI and no operator's license. He was fined 150 dollars and costs plus three days in city jail on the first count and 25 dollars and costs on the second. Committed to Athens County Jail on non payment. Mace was arrested by police.

Two Nelsonville Women Guilty Of Disturbing The Peace
Barbara Wycuff and Kay Windle of Nelsonville pleaded guilty to disturbing the peace after a late Wednesday tavern disturbance on West Columbus Street. Each was fined 10 dollars plus costs by Mayor Earl Hilleary. Harmon Dupper of Jefferson Street had his intoxication hearing reset for January 6 at 8:30 p m and pled not guilty.
