State police records show fewer fatalities in 1951 than 1950 on Mason County highways. Autos killed 11 in 1950 versus 5 in 1951. total accidents investigated fell from 87 to 68. Property damage and injuries shifted across routes, with 1951 totals of 54 injuries and $37,560 damage versus 49 injuries and $55,335 in 1950.
