Also William Noethen 45 his daughter Elaine 11 and his son Herbert 5 recovered after consuming tainted medicine from a drugstore. A mother thought the medicine was harmless but her child suffered severe symptoms. Noethen later gave a dose to the children to prove its danger.

An 88 year old man and his 72 year old wife were seriously injured in Columbus last night after being hit by two autos in the 1200 block of Cleveland Avenue. Drivers J. L. Wells and John E. Manen were questioned by police. Mrs Shoemaker suffered a fractured left hip and cuts while Mr Shoemaker had a broken ankle and cuts on arms and legs.
