Logan Mayor backs Koppe site for police station
Logan Mayor M B Haney urged the city council to consider the Koppe Property as a future police station location while keeping City Hall staff together. He criticized the current police facilities as a disgrace and noted plans to possibly move the department from its space with the fire department. Council will study Koppe use before deciding. The council also will review bids for city employee hospital insurance and notes a gas rate cut effective March 1. A traffic hazard at Vine and North Walnut Streets was referred to the street committee.
