State to Take Bins for Road in Short Time
On March 13 the state highway department will accept bids for four miles of the Pomeroy Parkersburg state road east of Coolville. The 18 foot wide road with a 26 foot roadway will be built by state and nation, cost estimates range from 187000 to 207000 depending on brick or reinforced concrete. It will connect state route No 161 and provide an outlet to Parkersburg for Athens and Pomeroy residents.
