Not Guilty Pleas Entered In Athens County Indictments
Six pleas of not guilty were entered in Athens County Common Pleas Court on 12 arraignments. Wayne Talbert, Wooster attorney, pleaded not guilty to an embezzlement indictment involving 1328 dollars for The Athens Messenger and Herald Printing Co. between 1936 and 1987 and was released on a 2000 dollar bond posted by his father. Guilty pleas were entered by Herbert McCulick and son Joe for taking 700 dollars from Edwin Chase, with the father put on probation and the son not yet disposed.
