Huntington report states John Bradshaw of Lincoln County received four years in prison for manslaughter after pushing constable Garland Adkins from a train. Adkins died from the fall while Bradshaw was being led to jail.
Gov Harry L Davis spoke at a Marietta session of the East Liverpool Marietta Highway Association highlighting rapid progress on a north Ohio river route from Pittsburgh to Cincinnati. Reports said rights of way are secured and grading has begun while Davis cited Ohio's record of road construction and pledged to honor prior pledges regardless of political cost. More than 300 road enthusiasts arrived by special train for the 11 o'clock program.
