United Nations sources report a four nation plan to operate the Suez Canal with Egypt receiving half the tolls. The plan, discussed with Dag Hammarskjold, would open the waterway to ships of all nations including Israel and place tolls with the World Bank or UN.
Stark County prosecutors say Dale Bundy and Russell McCoy, both of Zanesville, were charged with the November 23 killings of Uniontown County Line Market manager Reynold Amodio and clerk Paul Cain. McCoy also faces charges in a February murder of his half sister and her husband. Putnam withholds details until trial.
