DETROIT AP Floyd Diamond, 16, admitted stabbing nine year old Kathleen McLaughlin and crushing her skull with a rock in a fit of passion. The body was found in icy pond near the McLaughlin home in Franklin Knolls. Police found blood soaked clothing. Diamond said the crime occurred during roughhouse play near skating ponds.
