Colonel Kehrli Receives Three-Year Sentence in Pot Charges
Col. Gerald V. Kehrli, a 46 year old Air Force colonel and commander of a lift squadron in Saigon, was found guilty on seven marijuana charges. He received three years in prison and a 15000 dollar fine. The case, heard by a seven colonels and brigadier general panel, acquitted one count and sent to review. He remains eligible for pension and possible retirement.
