Franklin County authorities search for the parents of two abandoned boys aged about 14 months and 3 years. The children were left with babysitter Lois Kapp who advertised for boarding. a woman calling herself Dorothy Newsome brought them, claiming Johnny was the 14‑month old and Mike the 3‑year old. Newsome did not return to fetch them, and Kapp, unpaid, filed a charge of contributing neglect.
