The Coquette of Arlon and her midnight challenge

In 1743 Arlon, Gertrude Stock tests four suitors by a nocturnal tomb wager at a ruined Roman crypt. Each man must prove courage by performing a perilous task around the tomb while an angel and demons unfold, ending in a chaotic chase and misadventure as townsfolk recall the tale.
