Athens Zoning hearing on dormitory variance set for February 18
The Board of Zoning Appeals will hold a public hearing in City Hall Room 6 Athens Ohio on Tuesday February 18 1964 at P.M. to consider a variance from the conditional use permit for Lowell Hall of Athens Inc to erect a dormitory on tract bounded by South Congress West Union and South A Street and Beta Kappa House.

Firemen Save House After Outbuilding Fire Near Allensville
Firemen Tuesday noon saved the home of James Kuhn on County Highway 44 north of Allensville after an outbuilding burned and sparked nearby brush threatening the residence. The outbuilding was destroyed with a loss of 75 dollars for building and contents. another nearby outbuilding was saved.

Gallipolis Lawyer Atty Perry Bailes Dies in Florida
Atty Perry Bailes former Gallipolis city solicitor died at 3 am Friday in Florida after arriving the day before. Death was reported as a heart attack. He leaves his wife and two sons. Bailes kept his office in the First National Bank Building. Funeral plans were not set at presstime.
