Japanese student thanks U S for sisterhood in Cincinnati

Xemiko Itakura a 25 year old Japanese student at the University of Cincinnati for four years wrote four letters thanking the United States and Cincinnati for the opportunities to live under brotherhood. She will leave next Thursday to return to Matsue City Japan after expressing her gratitude to Mrs Joyce Agnew in UC public relations for the treatment she received.

Columbus Woman Dies In Route 33 Crash

A Columbus woman named Maxine Barkhurst, 34, died when a car slid on ice and hit a vegetable stand and a utility pole on U S 33 southeast of Columbus. Edward Workman, 65, of Columbus and Joe Laurint, 44, of Mount Vernon were listed in critical condition at Mercy Hospital.
