Minstrel Show Funny Bone Follies Rehearsals Begin
Amateur actors in Athens stage a brand new minstrel Funny-Bone Follies written by Ed Condon of Pomeroy. The Athens Junior Chamber of Commerce and City Federation of Women’s Clubs sponsor to raise funds to restore City Hall. Cast includes H Cranesy Sams Roger Connor Charles Ley and others with Dana Kelly chairing arrangements. First rehearsal tonight at 7 p m at Hotel Berry with open tryouts for interested participants.

The Past Matrons Auxiliary of the Order of the Eastern Star held its annual turkey dinner to honor retiring Worthy Matron Mrs Adda Glazier and initiate her as a new member. Episcopal Group At Good Shepherd Plans Parish Dinner
