Mutual Electric Plans Rate Cut and Franchise Clarification
Council discussed reducing power rates per thousand cubic feet and referred two ordinances to the ordinance committee. Mr Knox corrected a misunderstanding about Ohio Fuel Gas Co. lacking a franchise, stating the Richard son Gas and Oil Co. held a twenty five year franchise from 1905 with five years remaining. Members requested a copy of the franchise and the meeting adjourned.
