Armed robber terrorizes family in Gallia County

Gallia County Sheriff identified Franklin King 28 Huntington as the suspect who robbed Paddle's Place in Huntington and forced his way into the home of Mrs. Iva Johnson near Davis Road Mercerville area. He bound Mrs. Johnson, her 13 year old son Ricky and a man, then fled in a blue 1968 Oldsmobile after shooting a waitress and wounding a customer. The three were bound for an hour and a half until a sister in law arrived. Road blocks set. King at large with description five feet ten inches, about 160 pounds, blond hair.

Three-Nation Peace Force Proposed For Viet Conflict

Paris reports negotiators study a three nation peace force of Asian neutral states to guarantee any Vietnam settlement. Nixon Nears Decision on Middle East Policy and Staff Appointments

President Nixon, nearing a decision on Middle East policy, may delay revealing new steps until a Thursday news conference. He plans to brief congressional leaders on the nuclear nonproliferation treaty and announced two staff appointments, Air Force Col. Walter Tkach as presidential physician and Lt. Col.
