Hunter claimed he was fascinated by pinball machines and admitted taking the money to play them. He said he has $3000 in savings. Hunter and his wife Patricia were married in 1954 in South Bend Indiana after he played for Notre Dame.
Former heavyweight champion Joe Louis turned his federal income tax debts over to K. E. Porter, a Phoenix tax consultant. Porter estimated Louis owes about 61,238,000 with daily interest accruing around 278 to 300 dollars.
