Ove Holmes, a musician traveling via Athens, was fined $15 plus costs after pleading guilty. George Baker and Ed Leasure, both Athens residents, also pleaded guilty and agreed to pay $15 and costs each. Cal Anderson, Jacksonville pool room owner, faced possession charges. found guilty previously, he pleaded not guilty and was bound over to the grand jury on $1000 bond but remained jailed for failure to post.
