Nelsonville Fire Burns Brick and Sewer-Pipe Plant
A major blaze destroyed the Nelsonville Sewer Pipe plant, located one mile north of Selsanville, early yesterday. About eighty workers were affected as the factory, owned by the Nelsonville Stewart Pipe Company, burned rapidly. insurance was $1,750 on the structure. The cause remains unknown, with the loss highlighting prior regional industrial losses.

Horrific Cottage Fire Kills Ogdin Woman, Injures Children
Mrs. Ogdin of Albany area suffered fatal burns trying to save her two children after clothes caught fire from an open hearth. Her four year old and infant were badly burned but survived, while the house was saved. Mrs. Ogdin died soon after from injuries, leaving a husband and five children.
