Bandit Leader Killed in Akron Restaurant Robbery
In Akron Ohio at 5:15 this morning three armed bandits robbed Louis Pcorpas's restaurant. The bandit leader, about 30, six feet tall, 185 pounds, brown hair and smooth shaven, was found dead in a rear sand bank 250 feet from the restaurant after a shot by Mike Demor, chief. Two accomplices escaped. No identification papers were found on the body. Detective Scherman and clerk Louis Bourdelas recovered the body.
