Matheson To Address Soil District Meeting in Logan
Robert R. Matheson of General Electric will discuss "Thinkology" at the annual meeting of the Hocking Soil and Water Conservation District in Logan High School cafeteria January 11 at 7 p.m. A junior class steak dinner precedes the speech. Tickets are requested by January 8. Essay contest winners read their pieces. Three supervisors will be elected from nominees. New cooperators include several couples and groups with listed acreages across Falls Gore, Good Hope, Laurel, Starr, Salt Creek, and Marion townships.

Lockheed Georgia Co. announces J. D. Van Voorhis will become Logan Subassembly Plant manager effective Jan. 6. Van Voorhis, a 29 year Lockheed veteran, will replace Herb Brady who returns to Marietta. The Logan plant produces C 5A Galaxy parts and assemblies for shipment to Marietta for final assembly.
