Four people were treated at Hocking Valley Hospital after a two car collision at Front and Mulberry Streets. Jan Webb and Fred McCray were involved. McCray’s vehicle was a total loss and struck a residence causing damage. Injured were Rosemary Webb Wilma Matheny William Matheny and McCray. Scout Troop 444 meets at St Matthew Lutheran Church at 7 p.m.

Hocking Jail Busy As Inmates From Out of Town Lodged
Logan Hocking County jail housed inmates from other areas over the weekend. Dale Disbennett 22 of South Bloomingville Route 1 was fined 100 dollars and costs and given three days in jail by Mayor Phillip Swackhammer. He faced driving while intoxicated charges and was committed to county jail. Lawrence W. McClelland 21 of Glouster Route 3 received 50 dollars and costs for reckless operation and failing to stop after an accident in Mayor Donald Smiths court. He was arrested by Marshal Floyd Keeton and released Sunday afternoon. Curtis F E McWilliams 44 of Gore Route 1 is charged with driving while intoxicated and will appear before County Judge Vaughn Collins at 11 a.m. Monday.
