Smith Given Year Jail For Hunting Firearm Incident
Robert Smith of Long Bottom received a one year sentence in Meigs County Court for negligence with a firearm during a hunt. Judge Frank W. Porter suspended all but 30 days and put Smith on five years probation. He may not hunt or fish for five years and must cover Miss Diane Raiguel’s medical expenses. Harry Osborne was fined $10 and costs for failing to sound his horn when passing.
