The Point Pleasant fire department will distribute 85 baskets of food to needy families today for dinners. Donations come from children schools organizations and the department. Toys and dolls are given to children and refinished by the fire department. A candy and fruit treat at 7 pm tops off the annual effort around the decorated tree in Gun Park.
Mr. and Mrs Dwight Sayre of New Haven welcomed a son. Mr and Mrs Revious Schultz of Point Pleasant welcomed a son. North Point Pleasant. Teachers at North Point Pleasant Grade School held a classroom party for pupils on Tuesday with gifts exchanged and refreshments served.
The Kiwanis Club of Point Pleasant will host its annual Christmas Ladies Night with dinner at 6 30 p m at the Moose Home An open house will follow Saturday evening at the home of Mr and Mrs Carl Lanham Park Drive for 1956 Point Pleasant High School graduates.

Dr Dan Glassman led music with accordion, a trio of high school girls sang carols, and nursing staff joined Santa on rounds. Employees donated items for hospital departments, and refreshments followed.
