Fire damages lab at Jefferson Street home
A second call to the Harry Mettler residence on Jefferson Street prompted firefighters to tear out the mantle and plaster to reach a smouldering fire in the lab behind the mantle board. The blaze was quickly extinguished after access was gained Thursday night.

Collision damages two cars on Fayette Street in Nelsonville
On Thursday night two autos collided on Fayette Street in Nelsonville. The parked vehicle owned by Parker Sniffen was knocked across the curb and left straddling a telephone pole. Christmas Eve and Christmas Day Services Planned at Nelsonville Church
Nelsonville Presbyterian Church will hold two major services.
