Nine Killed In O Hare Runway Collision
At O Hare Airport two airliners collided in fog killing nine people. North Central Airlines DC9 had 45 aboard and Delta Convair 880 carried 86 passengers plus seven crew. The crash halted operations. 13 North Central passengers were hospitalized and 19 others were uninjured.
