Pair held in shooting of Columbus patrolman

Two Buffalo men are held after a drive-in burglary led to Patrolman Augustine Guiffre being shot five times outside a Columbus area drive-in on U.S. 40. James Myers, 20, confessed to the shooting. Walter Jankowski, 28, is in custody elsewhere. A second man fled. car thefts and numerous break-ins are noted in the investigation.
