Christmas Pageant by Plains Training School Students
The Annual Christmas entertainment was presented by the Elementary Grade Children at The Plains Training School on December 17 at 1 30 pm. The darkened auditorium featured chimes a lighted candle bearing choir and a pageant of a Child with Bible readings and carols. Over two hundred students participated with faculty guests from Ohio University and Rufus Putnam School fifth and sixth grades.

Berry Hotel hosted its annual Christmas party in the ballroom with about 200 attendees. Jimmy Littler's Orchestra provided music while Milton Gussie Gosztyla emceed the floor show It’s the Berries featuring home talent from workers and families including Phyllis Cunningham Faye and Bill Easler Arminta Morrison and Roger Crow Wanda Townsend and Gussie. The act lineup included dancing singing and magic by Benjamin Franklin IV with Miss Beasley and Mr Cornwell receiving gifts from James Devlin.
