Federal Hocking Teachers Angry at Board Evaluation
About three dozen teachers flooded the Federal Hocking School Board meeting to protest an allegedly improper evaluation of a middle school teacher. The Ohio Education Association official urged proper grievance procedures, citing mistrust and fear among staff. Board President Joseph Frost defended the process, noting prior attempts to meet with teachers for resolution. No public action was taken on district finances after a third defeat of a 6 mill levy proposal.
