The Athens MPS held its annual Christmas dinner and program at Hotel Gordon on Thursday evening. A progression of readings was performed and portions were sung. Names mentioned include Mrs. Conway, Mrs. organ Lueifle Withem, Mrs. Am Gyure, and Sion.
GLOUSTER The Oaksdale Church of God schedules a Christmas program with teen participants. Mrs F Hoon interim minister will deliver the evening message.
At Moose Hall the Sunday Creek Valley Sportsmen Club elected Rotland Hoffman president John Cunningham vice president Fred Burdiss secretary George Demchak treasurer and Dwight aHrtley Dr C F Patton and Richard Guinther trustees
An entry in Probate Court notes the balance due to the plaintiff for relief in the Stephen fee case. Luther F Weaver is named as plaintiff in another matter. The Elmer M Corning will dated Oct 7 is filed, with parties Thomas Chappelear and John C Furger involved. Sears Roebuck costs were paid.
First Baptist Church presents a Sunday program titled Even Unto Bethlehem featuring recitations, anthems by the church choir, and trios. A congregational number will follow, and at the close a treat will be distributed to attendees.
