Heath United Methodist Church Hosts Old Fashioned Christmas Program
In MIDDLEPORT a Heath United Methodist Church youth program featured recitations carols and a Nativity tableau directed by Mrs Roger Luckeydoo with Mrs Bernard Fultz and Sunday School teachers assisting. Students performed numerous poems and songs and a junior choir sang two numbers. Santa handed out candy and refreshments were served after the program.

POMEROY The Twin City Shrinettes hosted a Christmas gathering at hostess Shirley Beegle’s home. A candlelight ceremony installed Bonnie Miller as president Erma Yoho as vice president Emma Clathworthy as secretary Shirley Beegle as treasurer Mary Bowen joined as a new member. The group set the next meeting for Jan 24 at 8 pm at Beulah Ewing’s home. gifts were exchanged and refreshments served.
