State Officers To Speak At DAV Christmas Party
Ohio DAV Commander Howard L. Kabler and State Adjutant Albert L. Daniels will speak at Athens Christmas party for Conrath Bean Chapter 37. The 7:30 p.m. meeting at the DAV home will cover veterans legislation and is open to all veterans and wives.

Magic Show To Feature Mason's Party
Paramathia Lodge 25 F AM hosts its annual Christmas party at the Masonic Temple from 7:30 to 9:30 pm. Lodge master Jack L. Clark says the event is open to members and families with organ music by Mrs. Dorothy Billy and caroling led by William Brophy. Santa will give treats to children and refreshments follow in the banquet room. Gifts are being presented to the Salvation Army and the Ohio Masonic Home at Springfield.

Two Injured In Route 33 Auto Crash
Two people were injured in a Route 33 crash north of Route 682 on Wednesday. Orpha Mae Tippett 38 of Chauncey had cuts and bruises while Harold L Bailey 37 of Logan had body bruises. Both would seek medical care and Tippett was cited for conditional speed and license restrictions.
