Arguments in Milar Suit Scheduled for Saturday
In Athens County Common Pleas Court final arguments in a $75,000 damage suit against Anna May Milar and others were set for Saturday morning. Attorney Matthew L. Bigger argued his case after four days of testimony and more than 100 exhibits involving transactions between Maude L. Fenzel and the late Wesley B. Lawrence. Defense counsel J J Woolley deemed testimony about the deceased Lawrence improper and noted Fenzel as a potential beneficiary, challenging the joined petition and noting prior adjournments over related mortgages.
