Mrs Kate Small aged 77 mother of Mrs Mabel McIntyre and widow of Captain Charles R Small will be brought to Gallipolis for funeral services Friday. Death occurred in a New York hospital after a year long illness. Services at Grace M E Church at 2 pm burial in McIntyre lot Mound Hill Cemetery. She lived with the McIntyres in New York City for 15 years and accompanied them on trips abroad. Survived by two daughters Mrs McIntyre and Mrs Edward Martindill and Mrs Virginia Long wife of Ray Long publisher of Cosmopolitan Magazine. will accompany the body.
The Civil Works Administration in Ohio approved 181 new works projects. They will hire about 10,728 workers for 7,987 work days at an estimated cost of 2,616,256 dollars. Notable items include Hocking County 97,028 dollars 598 men 831 days Meigs County 34,347 dollars 102 men 129 days and Washington County 482,623 dollars 309 men 247 days.
